‘Little shots of insanity’ é o slogan que fundamentou a Bulletree filmes – produtora independente comandada pelos videomakers Marcos Ribas (18) e Diego Zeferino (22), responsáveis pelo vídeo e fotos da matéria Life(of)Style – In Motion desta mais recente edição da U_MAG.
Os dois se conheceram na faculdade, no estado de Santa Catarina/Brasil, e logo perceberam uma (única) identificação mútua pela cultura do surf e do skate. No demais, só diferenças que de alguma maneira acabaram se complementando para formar uma linguagem maior capaz de dar aos trabalhos da dupla um tom ao mesmo tempo autoral, comercial e essencialmente artístico. Vem daí, desses encontros e desencontros de afinidades e paixões criativas o mix de referências que caminha entre o punk rock, Bukowski, Tarantino , Harmony Korine, Walter Salles e mais outras dezenas de ícones que cada um se identifica, porém sempre apontando para um só expoente cheio de excitações milenares, a contracultura.
Litlle Shots of insanity” is the slogan that fundaments the work of Bulletree Filmes – an independent film production company founded by videomakers Marcos Ribas (18) and Diego Zeferino (22), the ones responsible for shooting and directing the short film and pictures seen at the Life(of)Style – In Motion story in this current U_MAG’s issue.
They both met at university, in the southern state of Santa Catarina, in Brazil, and soon identify a mutual inspiring passion: the surf and skat culture. Regarding other (creative) subjects the duo doesn’t seem to reach any sort of agreement, and perhaps that’s the secret of their unique language capable of combining differences in complementary ways. The results are projects that are at the same time authorial, commercial and essentially artistic. Their references and inspirations are always somewhat connecet to punk and rock attitues, Bukowski, Tarantino, Karmony Korine, Walter Saller and a dozen other creative icons that each one of them find a special connection with, always aiming at one single destination – counterculture.
